Meet
Dr. Rinku Mehra
Rinku Mehra, MD, MBA, is board certified in Pediatric Endocrinology and Obesity Medicine. For more than 15 years, she has helped children and families understand and manage concerns related to growth, puberty, thyroid health, diabetes, PCOS, weight, and other hormonal conditions.
Dr. Mehra was raised in Northern Virginia and graduated from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, followed by a Pediatric Endocrinology fellowship at the University of Iowa.
She is the Founder and CEO of Endo Kids Concierge and the creator of Endo Kids Academy
Why She Created Endo Kids Academy
Parents everywhere have questions about their children’s growth, puberty, hormones, and weight. Many turn to social media for answers, where medical information can be confusing, incomplete, or difficult to apply.
Dr. Mehra created Endo Kids Academy to give parents and caregivers access to trusted pediatric endocrinology education, wherever they live.
Through live virtual webinars, she explains complex medical topics in a clear and approachable way. Her goal is to help families better understand their children’s development, recognize when something may deserve further attention, and feel more prepared when speaking with their healthcare providers.

Dr. Mehra’s Personal Story
Education, health, and advocacy have always been deeply personal to Dr. Mehra.
As an immigrant and a woman from Afghanistan, she grew up understanding the value of education and the importance of helping girls and women become informed advocates for their own health.
Her goal is to empower young people and their families to understand their bodies from an early age and have access to trustworthy medical information delivered with compassion.
Dr. Mehra lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and two children. As a soccer and dance mom, she understands the questions, responsibilities, and everyday concerns parents carry. She enjoys traveling, trying new foods, learning about different cultures, and learning from the families she serves.
Extensive and Broad Experience
Before launching Endo Kids Concierge, Dr. Mehra served as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC. She later served as Medical Director of Pediatric Endocrinology at Pediatric Specialists of Virginia.
Her experience also includes working as a Medical Officer at the United States Food and Drug Administration and serving as a consultant with 2ndMD, where she provided second opinion services for pediatric endocrine concerns across the United States.
